Supply Chain

VALUE/SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT
We understand that your value chain is vital to your business success. Naturally, it can be either a significant competitive advantage or disadvantage depending on your ability to develop and manage it effectively. Moreover, the direct link between supply chain risk (e.g., flow disruptions, product recalls, environmental/health/safety management concerns, financial solvency of suppliers, etc.) and stock price/shareholder value has been demonstrated time and time again. Anovotek can help by applying its extensive value chain expertise and collection of tools to potential or existing supply chains to ensure that your supply chain is fast, flexible, and reliable, and therefore able to deliver the right product with an acceptable lead time and at the lowest possible cost. We can also perform the necessary due diligence to ensure that your business and reputational risks are minimal. Lastly, we can identify and help you extract the many hidden pockets of value scattered throughout both your internal and external value chains by analyzing both our clients’ and their suppliers’ pre-production, production, marketing, and sales functions.

EHS (ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, SAFETY) AND ENERGY SYSTEMS AND MANAGEMENT

A company’s intangible assets, including its brand, may represent up to eighty percent of its corporate value, according to the United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization. But many businesses, small and large alike, don’t protect their brands in a manner commensurate with their potential monetary worth. Companies are paying more attention to EHS exposures, but still tend to manage this category of risk either as an ad hoc activity or outside of a broader risk management framework. In truth, companies focused merely on complying with existing EHS laws and regulations are no longer even considered exceptional corporate citizens. They are expected to go well beyond EHS compliance. They are also held accountable—by the buying public, and sometimes even by EHS regulators—not only for their own actions, but also for the actions of others in their value/supply chain. The fact is that most businesses are ill-equipped to deal with these issues. For example, fewer than half undertake a formal assessment of EHS risk when developing new products or services, and fewer than one in five do so when planning mergers or acquisitions. EHS compliance and energy conservation are core competencies of Anovotek, as is product safety. Using our detailed product/process engineering and chemical expertise, we can help make EHS.
